Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Olarra (“we”, “us”), operated from Western Australia, handles personal information collected through olarra.com.au and the Olarra waitlist. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Olarra iOS app is covered by a separate app privacy policy.

1. Information we collect

Waitlist: the name, role and email address you provide when you join.

Site usage: Vercel Web Analytics records aggregated page usage without cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and device information to detect automated sign-ups.

Advertising measurement: this site uses the Meta Pixel, which allows Meta to collect page view and sign-up events using cookies and browser information. When you join the waitlist we may also send Meta a hashed copy of your email address. Meta can match a hashed email address to a Meta account, so it is not anonymous.

2. How we use it

We use your information to manage the waitlist, send you a welcome email and occasional updates about Olarra such as early access and launch news, measure the performance of our advertising, and protect the site from abuse. We do not sell personal information.

3. Disclosure and overseas storage

We disclose personal information only to the following providers, for the purposes above: Supabase (waitlist database, Japan), Resend (email delivery, United States), Vercel (hosting and analytics, United States), Cloudflare (sign-up protection) and Meta (advertising measurement). Cloudflare and Meta process information in the United States and other countries. Meta uses the information it receives under its own privacy policy.

4. Your choices

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can limit advertising measurement by blocking third-party cookies, using a content blocker, or adjusting your ad preferences in your Meta account.

5. Retention

We keep waitlist details until the waitlist closes or you ask us to delete them.

6. Access, correction and deletion

To access, correct or delete your information, email hello@olarra.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. Access and correction requests do not affect your place on the waitlist.

7. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us at hello@olarra.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8. Changes to this policy

We will publish any update at this address with a revised date.
